It is a well known fact that certain washing softeners affect the absorbency of towels.  It is therefore recommended that fabric softener is used only sparingly on terry products.

All terry towelling products benefit from tumble drying on a very low setting.

Common fabric instructions.  Depending on the fabric you will be given the following instructions in various formats.  For example you will be allowed to tumble dry but not dry clean and the washing temperature will vary accordingly.
